Caringbah has been rebuilt street by street over the last decade. Knockdown-rebuilds and duplexes have replaced much of the old stock, and the granny flats that came with them have created a layer of smaller rentals you will not see advertised on every corner. If you are moving out of any of them, the final inspection standard is the same: the agent walks through with a checklist, and the property needs to match it.
The bond cleaners we work with treat each property type on its own terms. Near-new duplexes get held to a close-to-new standard, so marks on walls, dusty tracks and streaky glass stand out more than they would in an older home. Granny flats are compact but dense: a full kitchen and bathroom in a small footprint still means the full wet-area scope. The remaining older houses usually need the most time in the kitchen, where original ovens and grout carry years of build-up.
What an agent-checklist clean covers
- Oven, cooktop, rangehood and splashback degreased
- Kitchen cupboards cleaned inside and out
- Bathrooms descaled, shower screens, tiles and grout scrubbed
- Windows, tracks, screens and sills cleaned
- Walls spot-cleaned, skirting and doors wiped
- Light fittings and ceiling fans dusted
- Floors vacuumed and mopped, hard floors and carpet alike
Pricing moves with size and condition. A one-bathroom granny flat is a different job to a four-bedroom duplex, so treat figures as guide pricing only and see our bond cleaning cost guide for typical ranges.
Most Caringbah rentals have carpeted bedrooms, and many agents expect carpet steam cleaning with a receipt. Older kitchens can be covered with a dedicated oven and kitchen clean, and a last minute bond clean is available when the inspection date has crept up on you. The standard scope is set out on our end of lease cleaning page.
We also service Caringbah South and Miranda next door.
Frequently asked questions
Do the cleaners handle granny flats in Caringbah?
Yes. A granny flat still has a full kitchen and bathroom, so it gets the full wet-area scope, just in a smaller footprint and usually at a lower price point.
I rent a near-new duplex. Does that make the clean easier?
Often, but agents hold new builds to a higher standard, so walls, glass and tracks still need to be done properly rather than skipped.
Can the cleaners guarantee the agent passes the clean?
No cleaner can promise an outcome. The cleans follow standard agent checklists, which is what the inspection is marked against.
